Derivatives and Critical Points - Intro

This unit focuses on using the first and second derivatives to find and interpret the critical points of a function, and will teach the following skills:

• Reading slope and concavity from a graph
• Building and reading derivative charts
• Finding critical numbers, points, and values
• Locating extrema and inflection points
