Skill: Count forward by tens

To count forward by tens, add $10$ to the number each time. The ones digit stays the same, while the tens digit increases by $1$. If the tens place reaches $10$, regroup it as $1$ hundred.

Example: Count forward by tens from $287$.

1. Start with $287$.
2. Add $10$:
   $287+10=297$
3. Add $10$ again:
   $297+10=307$
   Here, $10$ tens make $1$ hundred, so the number moves from $297$ to $307$.
4. Continue adding $10$:
   $307+10=317$
5. Add $10$ one more time:
   $317+10=327$

The sequence is:

$$287,\ 297,\ 307,\ 317,\ 327$$

Notice that the ones digit stays $7$ each time, and the number increases by $10$.
