Read a calendar

A calendar represents the repeating seven-day week organized into months and years, allowing dates to be located, ordered, and related as earlier, later, today, tomorrow, yesterday, next week, or last month. The learner interprets month names, day numbers, and weekday columns, determines the number of days in a month at this level, and connects one week with seven days; calculating dates across years, including leap-year rules, is not included.
