The ordering may be inferred from familiar clock times to the nearest five minutes, a.m./p.m. labels, and calendar sequences such as days and dates, while distinguishing time of day from duration. Advanced elapsed-time problems and generalized time-interval reasoning are not included.
To put events in time order, compare when each event happens.
Example:
Mia has these events on the same day:
Step 1: Look at the a.m. and p.m. labels.
Breakfast is in the morning, so it happens before the p.m. events.
Step 2: Compare the p.m. times.
Lunch at p.m. is earlier than bedtime at p.m.
Step 3: Put the events in order.
So, breakfast happens before lunch, and lunch happens before bedtime.
