Use a calendar to identify days

A calendar represents time in a repeating seven-day week arranged across weeks and organizes dates within a month. Learners locate a specified day, date, or month; determine which day comes before or after another; and relate today to yesterday and tomorrow, recognizing that a date’s position reflects its order in the month rather than simply its location on the page. Complex date calculations, elapsed-time problems, and relationships among months beyond reading the calendar are not included.
